  1. I often wonder, as I read political blogs, how many of the commenters who take certain rah-rah positions are also being paid, by campaigns, committees, and PAC's, to post as many comments for "their" candidates or positions as they can on as many websites as they can.
    Nah, campaign committees, et al, wouldn't do that, would they? Would they? {/snark}

  2. I actually saw a commercial this morning for this very service, hence the comic. It was like one of those My Clean PC ads, as in someone has huge money behind it.

  3. I have heard at least rumors of services for businesses to manage their online "reputations." What I don't know is if anyone is paying people for positive political comments on political websites. It wouldn't surprise me.
    OTOH, there are probably enough deluded, Kool-aid drinking enthusiasts on all sides of the political spectrum who make it their missions in life to do this for free. So, who knows?
