  1. Two of every animal that existed "back then." Except the dinosaurs, of course. ;-)
    It would have had to have been an exceptionally large ark. Probably would have foundered well before the termites got to work. And there must have been a whole heck of a lot of copulation going on in that ark........
    Well, it makes for a nice fairy tale. Too bad that so very many of our evangelical/fundamentalists believe every word of this.

    1. At the large evangelical high school I graduate from, our biology book was titled BIOLOGY FOR CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS, published, I kid you not, by Bob Jones University Press. According to this scholarly text, the world was only 10,000 years old, and as to your dinosaur doubt, it also stated that "dinosaurs, probably small ones, were actually aboard Noah's Ark." You can't make this stuff up. I spent two years immersed in the Orange County evangelical life -- and by CHOICE. Egad what a confused, lost, and desperate lad I was at the time. I like to call it my Bob Dylan Christian Phase. Sounds better. ;-)
